SENECA HILLS: A new two children nine-hole golf league starts 1 p.m. Wednesdays, starting this week. It will go through June and July. Players must be able to shoot 49. The format is a handicapped scramble so it fair for all golfers. Players must be going into at least seventh to senior year in high school to sign up.

n The annual popular open golf gym starts at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Sign in by 12:30 sharp. There are nine different formats. Players must be able to shoot 53 or better. Cost is $7 per 9.

n A weekly junior golf camp for all kids and ages will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursdays beginning at 2 p.m. June 13 until July 25. The  fee is $115 and will be run by award-winning PGA professional Bobby Pollitt and the staff.

n The popular Slate Real Estate Annual Two Person  Adult Child 9 hole scramble will be 4 p.m.July 14, with BBQ to follow. The age divisions are 8 and under, 9-12, 13-17 and 18-and-up. Sign up early as this will fill up. Call the professional shop at (419) 447-9446 for more information.

BASEBALL: The Northwest Ohio District 9 Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game is June 20 at Sports Force Park in Sandusky. Three games will be played simultaneously, beginning at 7 p.m. Teams have been divided by county. Game 1 will pit Crawford and Wyandot against Richland. Game 2 has Erie and Ottawa taking on Huron and Ashland. Game 3 has Seneca and Hancock facing Sandusky, Wood and Lucas.

BASEBALL: Heidelberg Baseball Youth Camp runs 9 a.m.-2 p.m. June 10-12 for boys and girls entering grades K-8. It’s $80 per camper and $65 for siblings. All campers get a T-shirt and lunch is provided. Brochures can be printed off at the Heidelberg baseball website. BASKETBALL: Columbian basketball will host an overnight youth camp for boys currently in grades 2-6. Registration forms can be picked up at Tiffin Middle School or sent via email by contacting Travis Kinn at travis_kinn@tiffincityschools.org.

n The 50th annual Camp Fighting Scot camp at the College of Wooster for boys entering grades 4-12 will feature three sessions from which to choose: June 23-26, July 14-17, and July 21-24. Cost is $450 for overnight campers and $350 for commuters, with a $200 deposit required. Cost includes a T-shirt. Players can register online at www.WoosterBasketballCamps.com. VOLLEYBALL: The Female Junior National Teams from Blackswamp Volleyball Sports Academy in Tiffin will have six teams ranging from 11-17 years of age competing in the Junior National Tournament in Indianapolis from June 27-July 6. A send-off for the athletes will run 5-9 p.m. June 24 at the Tiffin Buffalo Wild Wings.
