Dry ices Huron with buzzer beater for Clyde
CLYDE — James Dry hit a buzzer-beater Friday to lift Clyde to a 55-54 win against Huron.
Dry’s jumper capped a second-half comeback by the Fliers (12-6), who trailed 34-19 at halftime.
A 21-14 burst in the third quarter cut the deficit to 48-43 before Clyde doubled up the Tigers 12-6 in the fourth.
Dry finished with six points for the Fliers, who got 12 each from Derick Harrah and Seth Hohman and another 11 from Cam Farrar.
Casey VanCauwenbergh netted a game-high 19 points for Huron (5-11), Michael Hurst scored 13 and Chris Davis had 11.

Chieftains in final quarter
FINDLAY — Hopewell-Loudon didn’t score a single field goal in the fourth quarter against Blanchard Valley Conference foe Liberty-Benton Friday night and managed to walk away with a 51-43 win.
The Chieftains used 16 free throws in the final quarter to propel them to victory.
Jake Simonis tossed in 10 points from the charity stripe in the fourth to go along with his two from the second quarter and a 3-pointer in the third to lead H-L (11-6, 6-2) with 15 points. Simonis finished the night 12 of 14 from the line.
Jordyn Jury hit 5 of 6 from the line in the fourth — shooting 7 of 8 on the night from the stripe. He backed Simonis with 13 points. Luke Bolte tossed in 10 for the Chieftains, while grabbing nine boards.
Austin May led all scorers with 26 points for Liberty-Benton (4-14, 3-6). He also had nine rebounds.
