White, Senecas overpower St. Joe

Lexie White tallied 13 kills and 15 digs Thursday as Calvert dropped Fremont St. Joe 25-20, 25-7, 25-21.

Kennedy Smith backed her with 16 assists and 15 digs for the Senecas, Ashlyn Jones had eight kills and seven digs and Sophie Burtis added 13 assists and five digs.

Hannah Kelbley turned in nine digs, Zoe Meyer had four kills, three blocks and three digs, Hannah Burns (2 digs) belted four kills, Mallary Nielsen (2 kills, 2 digs) smacked three blocks and Sara Welter had two digs.

Blue Devils stay perfect

CAREY — Lawyer Stansbery had a career-best 45 assists and three teammates combined for 50 kills in Carey’s 25-13, 23-25, 25-7, 25-18 victory against Wynford.

Stansbery went a perfect 97 for 97 in setting to help the Blue Devils move to 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference.

Sydney Kin (2 aces) slammed 19 kills, four solo blocks and five total blocks, Hannah Zimmerman had 16 kills and 13 digs and Mckenzie Row chipped in 15 kills and 12 digs. Dana Worst added another 19 digs.

Bucks knock back Rams

UPPER SANDUSKY — Jenna Karl registered a double-double Thursday to spark Buckeye Central’s 25-12, 25-16, 25-22 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win against Upper Sandusky.

Karl turned in 10 kills, 17 digs and two aces for the Bucks (3-0, 3-0 N10).

Addie Ackerman backed her with 21 assists, Emily Stump tallied 17 digs and seven kills, Allie Weithman tossed up 10 assists, Lexi Evak hammered 10 kills, Claire Songer had seven digs and Spencer Kaple lined four aces.

The Rams got a double-double of 22 assists and 19 digs from Lucy Smith (2 aces).

Kenedi Hayden lined seven kills, Eve Smith came up with 20 digs, Lillie Orians had 16 digs, Bre Rosario tallied 10 digs and three aces, Jayden Smalley turned in nine digs and Hannah Gier added seven digs.

SYCAMORE — Alexa Konkle and Madi Chester both had a double-double and two teammates nearly did the same Thursday as Mohawk upended Bucyrus 25-16, 22-25, 25-15, 25-15.

Konkle sparked the victory with 27 assists, 17 digs and two kills, and Chester registered 15 kills, 14 digs and two assists for the Warriors (4-2, 2-2 N10).

Destini Oler (2 aces, 2 assists) chipped in 10 kills, nine digs and three blocks, and Kaylee Ward (2 aces) added 12 kills, eight digs and three blocks.

Aubrey Margraf added 17 digs, Ellie Shaw had seven digs, Jordyn Lease tallied five assists, five digs and three aces and Emma Myers-Huffman (2 blocks) lined five kills.

Fliers fall to .500

NORWALK — Norwalk beat Clyde 25-20, 25-13, 25-15 in Sandusky Bay Conference play Thursday to knock the Fliers to .500.

Grace Ball tallied 17 assists and eight digs for the Fliers (3-3, 0-2 SBC) in the loss and Sidney Krieger-Helms added 17 digs.

Alicia Carter-Koonce registered eight digs and six kills, Maddie Greenslade (2 solo blocks) had six digs and four kills, Ruby Schabel lined five kills and Jackie Smith belted two solo blocks.

suffers first loss

PEMBERVILLE — Eastwood beat Northern Buckeye Conference foe Fostoria 25-15, 25-19, 25-21 Thursday, knocking the Redmen from the list of unbeatens.

Tyriana Settles (2 aces) turned in 20 kills and 10 digs for Fostoria (4-1, 1-1 NBC), Dakota Thomas tossed up 24 assists, Mary Harris (2 kills, 2 aces) had 13 digs, Evion Taylor (2 aces) added seven digs and Meredith Grine lined two kills.

Tigers team up to drop CC

NORTH ROBINSON — Three Seneca East players turned in double-doubles Thursday as the Tigers outlasted Northern 10 Athletic Conference foe Colonel Crawford 25-22, 25-22, 17-25, 23-25, 15-12.

Aubrey Saylors registered 24 digs and 11 kills for the Tigers (2-5, 2-2 N10), Jillian Allgyre had 18 assists, 15 digs and eight aces, and Jessica Bowerman tallied 17 digs and 15 assists.

Allison Drown hammered another 10 kills, Bonnie Bivens blasted seven kills and five blocks and Tori Fritz lined six kills.

Stockaders fall to Oak Harbor

OLD FORT — Oak Harbor upended Old Fort 25-8, 25-20, 25-14 Thursday.

Kiely Taylor’s 13 kills and 11 digs sparked the Stockaders (2-4) in the loss, and Madison Guth (2 kills, 2 digs) had 16 assists.

Jenna Clouse chipped in 14 digs and three kills, Savannah McCoy had six digs and Morgan Miller ended with four kills, four digs and three aces.
