VOLLEYBALL: Upper Sandusky will hold a Senior Citizen Night Oct. 3 when the Rams host Seneca East. Senior citizens will receive free admission to the junior varsity and varsity matches and a coupon for a free drink and popcorn from the concession stand. The JV begins at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity match to follow.

GOLF: Tom Company, Mike (Whitey) Forence, Steve Bernard and Steve Lauer won Group 1, Brad Hess, Tim Bradford, PJ Hufford and Mike Imber won Group 2, and Tom Company, Mike (Whitey) Forence, Steve Bernard and Steve Lauer won Group 3 when the Bump’s Senior League played at Seneca Hills. The league will play at Eagle Creek in Norwalk at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Players should be there by 9:30 a.m.

JV VOLLEYBALL: Old Fort beat Carey 25-15, 25-20. Faith Williams tallied five kills and three digs for Old Fort and Kara Davidson lined four kills and two aces.

n Mohawk beat Upper Sandusky 25-22, 25-12. Alexis Loose led the Warriors with five kills and five assists, Paityn Clouse chipped in five digs and four kills, Mariah Gillig handed out six assists and Tess Weinandy had six digs.

n Fostoria beat Rossford 25-12, 16-25, 25-9.

n Seneca East beat Wynford 25-18, 25-11. Megan Rife slammed five kills and nine blocks for the Tigers and Kayla Snavely lined two kills and four aces.

FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: Wynford beat Seneca East 25-18, 25-19. Alexis Hicks hammered seven kills for Seneca East.

JV TENNIS: Saylor Meyer, Emma Strudthoff, Mary Wilkerson, McKenzi Woessner, Clori Hackenburg, Amber Fay, Ellie Pierce, Gabby Castillo, Averie Fritz, Abbey Marcha and Klara Miller all won matches for Clyde against Norwalk.

n Bellevue’s Alivia Hamons and Leighanne Motley beat Perkins’ Abriye Skelton and Katie Koch 7-6 (7-4).

JV GOLF: Ryder Gamerstfelder fired a 40 to lead Clyde past Columbian 188-214. Tyler Dearth added a 46 for the Fliers, Jacob Lee shot a 49 and Jared Combs had a 53. Garrett Wiseman (55) and Ryan Matherane (55) also played for Clyde. Collin Amway shot a 49 for TC, Garrett Bowers had a 52, Tyson Price added a 55 and Kyle Kantner shot a 58. Owen Smith (69) and Isaac Stover (74) also played.

JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: Kaitlyn Best belted six aces and two kills and Hillary Bogner blasted eight aces to lead Seneca East’s seventh grade past Carey 25-5, 25-19.

n Seneca East’s eighth grade beat Carey 25-23, 14-25, 25-19. Makenna Depinet led the Tigers with eight kills and four blocks and Mya Ousley had three aces, three kills and two digs.

JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL: Zaiden Fry scored two touchdowns to lead Mohawk’s seventh grade past Wynford 22-0. Bryce Hannam added a TD toss to Owen Chevrolet, and Fry and Jace Margraff each scored a conversion.
