JV BASEBALL: Graydon Bunting fanned 11 in a five-inning no-hitter as Columbian beat Sandusky 13-1 Tuesday. Bunting also singled and drove in two for the Tornadoes. Kyle Edmond chased in two runs with two singles, Austin Parrott and Isaac Lewis both had a single and two RBIs, and Noah Widman and Shane Huffman each doubled and knocked in a pair.
n Zach Aichholz belted a triple and two singles to help Seneca East upend Lakota 8-6. Ryan Bower and Tyrus DeBold each added two hits to help Chase Chapman get the win.
BOWLING: Steamer’s Sports Bar held off Heritage Family Center 3,000-2,983 in a roll off for the Alley Cats title. American Legion upended Stiney’s Three Oaks 2,975-2,918 for third. Diane Hoover’s 537 series topped the individual efforts, followed by Sandy Hufford (475), Kathy Zeis (474), Brenda Rosier (473) and Jeanette Lynch (465).

5K MUD RUN: The P.M. Gillmor Community Park in Fort Seneca will host a 5K Mud Run on June 7. An adult race starts at 10:30 a.m. with a kid’s race at noon. GOLF: Rodney Brickner leads with 40 points after two weeks in the P.J. Brickhouse Golf League at Loudon Meadows. Rick Kessler and Ed Depinet follow closely behind with 39 points each. Dennis Depinet, Doug Tanner and Greg Arbogast tied for the low gross of 40. Prize holes went to Tanner (Closest in two, No. 12), Adam Miller (Long putt, No. 15) and Rodney Brickner (Closest to pin, No. 18).
