STRIKE OUT CANCER: The annual Strike Out Cancer games, slated for today at Columbian baseball and softball fields, have been postponed. A make-up date will occur sometime next week barring tournaments and league play amongst the participating schools.

GOLF: The Miletti Golf Outing is June 8 at Seneca Hills with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $60 per golfer with teams of mixed foursomes. Cost includes pre-driving range, 18 holes, cart and steak dinner. Hole-in-one contest sponsored by Reineke Family Dealerships. n In the Reineke Early Flight Wednesday league at Clinton Heights, Mike Kirian and Gary Lescellett lead with 13 points. Joe Snyder was closest to the pin on No. 11, Billy Diehm had the long drive on No. 13, Snyder had the long putt on No. 15 and John Bing was closest in three on No. 17. Eric Williams was closest in two on No. 18.

n Ron Kern and Carl Rainey fired a 34 and lead the Steyer Seed Tuesday Morning Scramble League at Clinton Heights with 28 points. Prizes went to Mike Theis (long putt No. 12), Kern (closest to pin No. 14), Howard Hohman (long drive No. 16) and Joe Zirger (closest in two No. 18).

n Three teams tied at 4-under in the Wednesday Senior League at Clinton Heights. Prizes went to Bob Overholt (closest in one No. 5), Bill Parnell (closest in two No. 6) and Butch Whipple (closest in three No. 9, long putt No. 4).

TENNIS: The Division II sectional tournament at Port Clinton High School has been moved to today. Play will start at 6 p.m., with finals starting Saturday at 9 a.m.

RUNNING: The inaugural TK 5K to benefit pulmonary fibrosis is 9 a.m.-1 p.m. June 28 at Hedges-Boyer Park. The race is in memory of Tom Kin, a Calvert graduate and Tiffin resident. Entry forms can be found at www(dot) or at the YMCA.

5K MUD RUN: The P.M. Gillmor Community Park in Fort Seneca will host a 5K Mud Run on June 7. An adult race starts at 10:30 a.m. with a kid’s race at noon.
