YOUTH FOOTBALL: Chieftain Youth Football will hold an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. April 30 in the basement of Bascom United Church. This meeting is for any Hopewell-Loudon parent who has a child for the coming 2014-15 school year who would like to attend a flag football camp for third and fourth graders or a child in fifth or sixth grade who would like to play tackle football. JV BASEBALL: Perkins beat Hopewell-Loudon 11-4. Dan Arbogast singled for the Chieftains, as did Bryce Steinhauser. Adam Boer and Matt Huth each singled, Vollie Brock doubled, Alex Borer singled twice and Tristan Molatla singled.

n Columbian beat Port Clinton 10-7, thanks to Brad Fitch driving in three runs with a double and two singles. Brennen Emerine and Zane Schank each singled twice for the Tornadoes and Kyle Edmond chased in three runs. Shane Huffman fanned four to get the win.

JV TENNIS: Columbian’s teams of Tyler Hawk and Nills Gommel, Robert Klepper and Wesley Henckel, Andrew Cole and Gus Panuto, Will Jones and Nate Wise, Nicolas Villareland Dustin Digby and Jared Anderson all picked up wins against Bellevue.
