WINTER SPORTS MEETINGS: Upper Sandusky will hold a winter sports parent meeting Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. Parents of winter sports athletes must attend. Sport-specific meetings will follow the general meeting. For more information, call the school at (419) 294-2308.

n Hopewell-Loudon will conduct its winter sports meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the school auditorium. OFFICIATING CLASS: A class is being held for those interested in being a wrestling official. The class will be held at the University of Findlay. JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL: The Tiffin eighth grade team fell to Sandusky 35-6. Tiffin’s efforts were led by Jared Akers, with a rushing touchdown of 65 yards. TC Hallett led the defense with five tackles and a blocked punt.

BOWLING: In the Allen Eiry Center League, Harry Smith had the high men’s game with a score of 210 and high men’s series with 385. Sandy Smith had the high women’s game and women’s series with a score of 176. The AEC Bowling League meets weekly at 1 p.m. Wednesday. Call the AEC at (419) 448-9774.
