TIFFIN LITTLE LEAGUE FOOTBALL: Tiffin Little League Football will hold a draft at 10 a.m. July 13 at the shelter across from the YMCA, open to any boy or girl in fourth through seventh grade. There will be cheerleading tryouts at the same time open to any girl first grade and up.

YOUTH?FOOTBALL: The Heidelberg Youth Football Camp runs 9 a.m.-noon July 8-11 at Mayer Field. The camp is designed to serve campers ages 6-13 in all areas of football development, and will be run by the Heidelberg staff and players. Each camper will receive a detailed evaluation, a camp T-shirt, and a certificate of completion. Cost is $75 at the door. For more information, contact Corey Fillipovich at (419) 448-2142.

GOLF: In the Seneca Hills Tuesday Morning Ladies League, Lee Michaels won the poker hand, Carol Shook had the long putt on No. 15, while Barb Kuhn was closest to the pin on No. 13.

n Joe Kinner shot 37 for the low gross and Dan Reinhart had a 30 for the low net in the P.J. Brickhouse League at Loudon Meadows. Ron Brickner had the long putt on No. 17, while Matt Reinhart was closest to the pin on No. 18. Rodney Brickner had the least putts.

n Jason Galitza leads Andy Halcomb 144-132 with one week left in the first half of the DTS Par Tee League at Clinton Heights. Ray Nutter fired a 38 for the low round. Andy Beebe, Dan Mathias and Nutter each won skins. Prizes went to Beebe (long putt No. 6), Nutter (pin shot No. 8), Mathias (pin shot No. 5), Mitch Stearns (long putt No. 9) and Galitza (long drive No. 4, proximity shot No. 2).

n The teams of Tom Fate, Ron Troxell, Harry Smith and Dave Seislove; Ted Rombach, Sonny Hatton, Greg Bishop and Dave Kirby; and Jim Ruess, Jim Weinandy, Fred Smith and Bill Powell all tied for the win in the Clinton Height Retirees League at 5-under. Prizes went to Ray Nutter (long putt No. 1), Smith (closest in one No. 8), Gary Kroeger (closest in two No. 3) and Weinandy (closest in three No. 9).

HOLE IN ONE: Bruce Currie had a hole in one with a seven iron on No. 9 at Fostoria Country Club. Witnesses were Barb Currie, Nile Lahr and Betty Lahr.


Seneca County B League Tournament

Winning pitcher Dom Guillen struck out six, singled twice and scored Wednesday to lead Geroski Family Dentistry in a 4-1 win over Bascom II. Roger Hall added a double and RBI, Kam Guillen singled and drove in a run, Collin Hipsher and Anthony Tucker both singled and scored, and Dylan Peace scored. Hipsher also pitched, striking out five. Carson Goble doubled and scored for Bascom II. Kyle Rumschlag doubled and Ethan Oswalt, Levi Giesner, Carter Coffman and Collin Swaisgood each singled.
