A gift for our community

Beginning Friday, Max Lucado’s “The Christmas Candle” will open in select theaters nationwide. The Cinemark at Tiffin Mall has scheduled five showings per day on the opening weekend. Show times are noon, 2:20 p.m., 4:55 p.m., 7:25 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.

This family-friendly film inspires renewed hope in the miracle of Christmas. It will remind all in attendance of the spirit and sense of wonder of the Advent season as we prepare our hearts for the birth of Jesus – something that is too often absent in our culture today.

“The Christmas Candle” features the acting debut of Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle, who also sings an incredibly beautiful original song written just for this movie, titled “Miracle Hymn.”

“Miracle Hymn” has been included as the last song on Boyle’s newly released Christmas CD, titled “Home For Christmas.”

Please make plans to see “The Christmas Candle” this weekend with family and friends. Wonderful gifts like this aren’t presented to us very often!
