Signs of spring are all around
It’s tough to tell when springtime arrives in Ohio. One day feels as though it is summer time. The next, winter returns. It’s as if the Buckeye State has seven seasons: summer, fall, winter, almost spring, more winter, spring and pothole season.
But there are signs warmer days are ahead:
The Seneca County Home Expo offers ideas for homeowners and potential homeowners. This year, the home show is set for 5-9 p.m. Friday, noon-8 p.m. Saturday and noon-4 p.m. Sunday at Tiffin University’s Heminger Center.
The Northern Ohio Sprint Car Show returns to Tiffin Mall. Again this year, it will be Friday through Sunday during mall hours.
The sprint car show is in conjunction with Family Fun Night 6-9 p.m. Friday, sponsored by Relays For Life of Tiffin and Fostoria. The event is to include musical entertainment, bake sales, raffle baskets, popcorn, a Holland grill raffle, a hoop shoot, a big-screen TV raffle, food and Bark For Life info plus games, face painting, and other activities for kids.
The Rotary Auction is 6-10 p.m. today and Thursday at The Ritz Theatre. Check out the auction items in the flier in last Sunday’s edition or online at issuu.com/
auction2013?mode=window. Then, go to The Ritz or watch on Time Warner Cable channel 21 and bid by calling (419) 447-1334.
And remember, spring is just around the corner. Again.
