Oscar Pichardo, 38, of Fostoria, died Friday morning, Jan. 25, 2013, at Mercy St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Toledo.
He was born Feb. 25, 1974, in Puruagua, GTO Mexico, to Emiliano and Carolina Pichardo-Castro. He married Delores Jean King on Sept. 20, 1996, in Fostoria.
Oscar is survived by his wife; son, Oscar Benjamin Pichardo, at home; daughter, Isabel Abril Pichardo, at home; stepson Michael Andrew Curless, of Clyde; stepdaughter Rachel Ashley Lemmon, of Clyde; two brothers, Miguel Angel Pichardo-Castro of Mexico City, Mexico, and Eduardo Pichardo-Castro of Aurora, Ill.; a sister Maria Socorro Pichardo-Castro of Aurora, Ill; an uncle Francisco Castro, of Fostoria; and two stepgrandchildren, Alan and Alexandria Lemmon.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Oscar worked in the shipping and receiving department at GSW in Findlay. He graduated from high school in Puruagua Jerecuaro, Mexico, and attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Fostoria.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, OH 44830 with Perry D. Reier officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at the funeral home.
