Four people were hurt in an accident on South Sandusky Street Wednesday.

Officer Steve Beutler of Tiffin Police Department said Travis W. Tullis, 25, of Westerville, was driving a 1994 Lincoln Town Car, and Paula K. Hunker, 65, of Old Fort, was driving a 2012 Nissan Rogue.

Sgt. Rob Bour of Tiffin Police Department said the Lincoln Town Car was headed south on Sandusky Street and went left of center, striking the sport utility vehicle head-on.

Witnesses had seen it weaving for many blocks prior to the accident, he said.

Tullis and his passenger, Laura K. McGuire, 28, of Columbus, and Hunker and her passenger and husband, John E. Hunker, 66, of Old Fort, all were taken by Tiffin Fire Rescue Division to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.

Beutler said they had non-life-threatening injuries, and he believed they all were wearing seatbelts.

Tullis was cited with failure to drive on the right side of the road and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Results of a urine analysis were pending Wednesday night, Beutler said.

John’s Welding & Towing assisted at the scene.
