Woman injured in East CR 36 accident

A woman was injured in a single-vehicle, rollover accident at East CR 36 and South CR 15 Friday afternoon. Trooper Jake Mellinger of the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol said Krissie Hall, 32, of Bellevue, was traveling east on East CR 36 in a 2006 Toyota Corolla. He said Hall passed a vehicle at a high rate of speed around a curve, went off the right side of the road and Hall's Toyota struck a utility pole before coming to a rest off the south side of the road. Mellinger said Hall was transported by Tiffin Fire Rescue Division to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Hall was wearing her seatbelt and was cited with failure to control, he said. Mellinger said drugs or alcohol were believed to be a factor in the accident and additional charges were pending lab results. The accident was reported at 3:09 p.m. and Tiffin Fire Rescue Division, Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Department, State Highway Patrol, Seneca County Sheriff's Office, American Electric Power and D&D Total Repair responded to the scene.
