Multiple accidents reported
Multiple accidents were reported throughout the county as Winter Storm Harper struck the area Saturday.
In Tiffin, several vehicles were removed for street snow emergency on Madison, East Market, South Washington and East Perry streets Saturday morning.
At 11:23 a.m., Seneca County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at East CR 40 and North TR 73.
Citations of failure to control and hit skip were issued after an accident at West Market and Benner streets Saturday morning. The accident was reported at 11:38 a.m. and Tiffin Police Department responded.
A person reported a hit-skip at South TR 81 and East CR 36 Saturday afternoon. The incident was reported at 1:14 p.m. and Seneca County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
At 1:51 p.m., Tiffin Police Department responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident on West Market Street. A citation of improper turn was issued, a report states.
Deputies responded to a semi that struck a vehicle at CR 15 and US 224.
Dominic Hennis, 43, of Killeen, Texas, was cited with failure to control, according to a Seneca County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
Nobody was injured, she said.
The accident was reported at 2:40 p.m. and Tiffin Fire Rescue Division, Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Department, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and John’s Welding & Towing responded to the scene.
