Woman pleads guilty
A Tiffin woman pleaded guilty to a charge during a hearing in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff’s courtroom Tuesday.
Kayla Eachus, 25, waived indictment and proceeded on a bill of information charging her with attempted complicity to robbery, a third-degree felony.
The joint sentence recommendation is she serve a three-year term of community control.
The case was referred for a pre-sentence report.
Eachus previously had been charged with complicity to aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony, and complicity to robbery, a second-degree felony. Shuff had granted Seneca County Prosecutor’s Office’s motion to dismiss the indictment.
About 1 a.m. Nov. 22, a man at 28 Virginia Ave. reported to Tiffin Police Department he had been assaulted after 10 p.m. He reported people from Detroit pushed in his door and beat him in his basement, a police report states.
