Seislove chosen as Calvert elementary principal
Calvert Catholic Schools has hired Marilyn Seislove as elementary principal.
A release states Seislove earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Akron and a master’s degree in humanities from Tiffin University.
She has taught preschool, fourth through sixth grades and junior high language arts and social studies in the Calvert Catholic school system for almost 30 years before accepting this leadership position. She and her family are members of St. Mary Parish.
A release states Seislove’s priority is to focus on the students and ensure they are receiving an education that supports the school’s mission of being one family committed to Christ, spiritually, academically, physically and socially. It states she is thrilled about the addition of the new Creator Space, an enrichment classroom designed to strengthen the math and science program while fostering creativity and innovation; establishing an engineering mindset throughout the curriculum.
Seislove lives in Tiffin with her husband, Ron, and their son Jackson, a freshman at Calvert. They have three adult children.
