Two injured in accident Sunday afternoon at CR 592 and CR 39

Three people were injured in an accident at CR 592 and CR 39 Sunday afternoon. Trooper Mark Sorg of the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol said Nathan Bowen, 19, of Fostoria, was traveling east on CR 592 in a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze. Kimberly Kramer, 22, of Tiffin, was traveling east on CR 592 in a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox with Shawn Laver, 26, of Napoleon, and Haylie Kramer, 1, of Tiffin, he said. Bowen turned southbound into a private drive attempting to make a U-turn, failed to yield from the private drive and struck the Equinox, Sorg said. Kimberly Kramer and Shawn Laver were transported by Bascom EMS to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries and Haylie Kramer was transported by private vehicle to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, he said. Sorg said Bowen was cited with failure to yield from a private drive. Everybody involved was wearing their seatbelts, he said. The accident was reported at 1:27 p.m. and Bascom EMS, Kansas Volunteer Fire Department, the Echo unit, State Highway Patrol, Seneca County Sheriff's Office, D&D Total Repair and John's Welding and Towing responded to the scene.
