A woman was cited after a two-vehicle accident on CR 592 Friday evening.

Trooper Christopher Kiefer of the Fremont post of State Highway Patrol said Keara Steving, 21, of Fostoria, was traveling in a 2004 Chrysler east on CR 592 and David Signor, 53, of Tiffin, was traveling in a 2016 Ford with Kevin Roden, 52, of Michigan, west on CR 592.

Steving lost control of her vehicle, slid sideways and was struck in the driver’s side back door by the Ford and her vehicle was split in two, he said. Road conditions appeared to be a factor in the accident, Kiefer said.

There were no injuries or transports by EMS or fire, he said.

Kiefer said Steving was cited with failure to control.

Everyone involved was wearing seatbelts, he said.

The accident was reported at 5:12 p.m. and Fostoria Fire Division, Kansas Volunteer Fire Department, John’s Welding and Towing, State Highway Patrol and a Community Emergency Response Team responded to the scene.
