Motorcycle Ohio is to conduct instructor preparation courses this year to inform instructors of teaching methods based on national standards.
According to a release from Motorcycle Ohio, the course is to include instructing basic riders to novice students, classroom teaching techniques and range coaching techniques.
The weeklong course will be given 9 a.m.-6 p.m. May 13-19 at Terra Community College, 2830 Napoleon Road. Student teaching that accompanies the course will occur 6-10 p.m. May 19 and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. May 20 and May 21.
Registrations are accepted for up to 15 candidates based on meeting all registration qualifications.
Courses also will be offered in Columbus in June and August.
