Woman hurt in car accident
A Swanton woman was transported to the hospital after she lost control of her vehicle Friday morning and overturned it several times on TR 59.
Trooper Jim Van Camp of State Highway Patrol said Elizabeth McConnell, 22, had been driving southbound on TR 59 just south of CR 18 when she drove off of the roadway and into a cornfield, rolling her vehicle several times.
Van Camp said McConnell, who was cited with failure to control, did not appear to be seriously injured.
According to reports from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Bascom fire and EMS and the Echo unit responded to the accident, which was reported at 10:42 a.m.
