Church plans Holy Week services

Holy Week, culminating with Easter morning, is the most meaningful week on the Christian calendar. First Presbyterian Church, at 201 W. Fremont St., Fostoria, has set special worships for the week.

Thursday, church members are to gather for supper with a worship service to follow. Supper starts at 6 p.m. with a Mediterranean buffet. Worship is to cover the story of Jesus’ last evening with his disciples.

Friday, a “Shadow and Darkness” service is set for 7 p.m. The service can be meaningful for older teens and adults, but is not recommended for children due to the subject matter.

Sunday, an Easter breakfast is set for 9-10 a.m. and Easter worship begins at 10:30 a.m. Childcare is provided for the worship hour, with special activities for the children.
