Wellness event today

St. Francis Senior Ministries is to host a Wellness Extravaganza 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today in Elizabeth Schaefer Auditorium on St. Francis Ave., Tiffin. More than 40 organizations are to be represented, and a lunch stand is to be available. Several tests and screenings are to be offered, including flu and pneumonia vaccinations.

At 11 a.m., a representative from the Ohio attorney general’s office is to speak about senior scams. At 1 p.m., the St. Francis Mission Advancement Office is to give a presentation on legacy notebooks. The programs are to take place in a separate area at Elizabeth Schaefer.

Attendees may bring old eyeglasses to donate to the Lions Club and medications for a medication review from ICP. For more information, call (419) 443-1540.

Peace vigil set for Friday

The Quad County Coalition is to have its next “Second Friday” peace vigil at 4:30 p.m. this Friday at Courthouse Square in Tiffin.

‘Once upon a time’ takes life at Historic Lyme Village Sunday

BELLEVUE – Historic Lyme Village, 5001 SR 4, Bellevue, is offering its Storybook Halloween event 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Favorite characters are to be located in each historic building in the village with activities for children. Children can come in costume. Light refreshments are to be served. Wrestling returns to Tiffin

Saturday evening at TDC

National Wrestling Alliance-Sports Entertainment Wrestling return to Tiffin Saturday for Roadwars 4 at Tiffin Developmental Center.

Tickets are $10 at the door. Doors are to open at 4:30 p.m., with matches to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Wrestlers are to include AJ Snow, Jason Franchise, Christian Black, Joe Bruizer, Jonathon “The Boss” Hampton, Malice and Twisted. Ernie Ballz is to make his NWA-SEW debut, facing off against Dusty Dillinger, also in his first match with NWA-SEW.
