Dixson extradited, faces video arraignment today

A man charged in connection to the murder of 50-year-old Lisa Stowers and the shooting of her daughter, Tyeesha Ferguson, 36, was extradited Wednesday afternoon from Cleveland to Seneca County.

Calvin Dixson, 37, is being held at the Seneca County jail on an aggravated murder charge and is to appear today for a video arraignment in Fostoria Municipal Court, Capt. Patrick Brooks of the Fostoria Police Department said.

Dixson was arrested Monday in Cleveland following the Sunday shooting on Bannister Street that killed Stowers and seriously injured Ferguson. The pair were shot in a parked car in a driveway at 245 Bannister St. The home belongs to one of the victims.

Brooks said Dixson also was indicted by a Seneca County grand jury Wednesday. He was unsure Wednesday evening of the charges the grand jury handed down.
