Tiffin man gets six years jail for burglary
A Tiffin man was sentenced to more than six years in prison after a jury found him guilty of several burglary-related charges.
Darryl G. Bright II, 30, who was found guilty of four counts of breaking and entering, one count of receiving stolen property, illegal processing of drug documents and theft, was sentenced by Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Steve Shuff to a total of 74 months in prison last week, according to court documents.
Bright was arrested in January after a search warrant at his residence revealed property believed to have been stolen from area businesses. He then was indicted on the felony charges in February.
According to his indictment, businesses affected by the break-ins included Picture Perfect, State Farm Insurance Agency, Welty Insurance Agency and the office of Dr. Mohamed Salem.
Stolen items included a Marathon gas card, multiple vials of lidocaine and an uncompleted pre-printed prescription.
Bright was ordered to pay restitution of $4,254.84 to the four businesses, according to court documents.
