Fostoria woman indicted for fleeing
A Fostoria woman was indicted on failure to stop after an accident for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident that seriously injured a Bluffton woman in February.
Amber R. Allgire , 23, of Fostoria, was indicted on the fifth-degree felony Wednesday in Wood County Common Pleas Court. The case was filed Thursday, according to court records.
Allgire allegedly had struck Bridgette Staley, 23, with her vehicle while Staley was walking on SR 199 during the early morning hours of Feb. 24. Staley had been found unresponsive and laying in the roadway and was transported by medical helicopter to The Toledo Hospital. Allgire, who fled the scene, later was located at a rural Fostoria address.
