Police close March shooting case
A police case involving a March shooting that injured a Marion man has been closed.
Detective Lt. Jason Windsor of the Tiffin Police Department said Joseph J. Bradley, 22, who reported he was shot in the leg near North Washington and Harrison streets March 13, has refused to cooperate with police.
Bradley had initially reported he was leaving Viaduct Bar & Grill, 84 N. Washington St., around 2:30 a.m. when he was shot in the leg. He then walked to a residence where he called police just before 3:30 a.m. after realizing he had been shot. He was then transported to the hospital where he was treated and released.
Windsor said it was later determined through witness statements that the shooting occurred around 3:15 a.m.
Windsor said shell casings had been found in the area and a bullet hole also was found on a nearby vehicle.
