Tiffin reports

A man went to the station Monday afternoon to report a check was stolen from his checkbook.

An employee of Lowe’s Home Improvement, 1025 W. Market St., reported Monday evening a riding lawn mower was stolen. Cable had been cut, the employee reported. The store was to attempt to get video of the parking lot, according to the report. The employee said the same incident happened in Findlay. An investigation is pending.

A man reported Monday night a man had approached his daughter a few weeks ago and asked her if she wanted to buy K2.

A 100-block Hall Street residence was reported broken into Monday night. Several items were missing. The criminal division was contacted to process the residence. The incident is under investigation.

A first-block North SR 101 person went to the station Tuesday morning to report a fraud.

A 200-block Noble Street man reported Tuesday morning he found a radial arm saw on his front porch.

County reports

A man reported Monday night his cell phone was stolen from the 2000 block of West CR 26. A tracker on his phone placed the stolen phone in the 1700 block of West Market Street.

Damage to a mailbox and a trash hopper was reported early Tuesday morning in the first block of North TR 91.

A bad check was reported Tuesday afternoon in the first block of North Marion Street.

Two mailboxes were reported to have been vandalized Tuesday afternoon in the 4000 block of West CR 52.

A garage in the 7000 block of North TR 69 was reported broken into Tuesday morning. A chainsaw was taken.

Fostoria reports

Calvin E. Chancey, 53, of Fostoria, was charged with assault for an incident Aug. 10.

An 800-block Woodward Avenue woman reported Monday evening a neighbor’s dog attacked her cat.

A caller reported Monday night it appeared a storage unit in the 1200 block of Perrysburg Road had been broken into. Police checked it and found it was secured.

A 200-block East North Street woman reported early Tuesday morning someone was pounding on her door. Police did not find anyone in the area.

A residential break-in was reported early Tuesday morning in the 1000 block of Buckley Street. Items were taken.

An 800-block Shore Drive woman reported Tuesday morning someone had been coming every morning and cutting branches off her trees.

A 500-block Burnham Drive woman reported Tuesday afternoon she had unauthorized purchases on her credit card.

State Patrol

Larry W. Crosson Jr., 30, of Clyde, was cited with

operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to control Saturday.
