A person went to the station Wednesday afternoon to report a cell phone was stolen from Walmart. According to the report, Jonathan R. Thomson, 20, of Bloomville, was charged with theft Wednesday afternoon.
Kyle D. Moyer, 33, of Tiffin, was cited with driving under suspension Wednesday night.
Robert A. Kruger, 19, of Galion, was charged with drug possession/abuse Thursday morning.
A caller reported Thursday morning two men were smoking marijuana in a parking lot in the 100 block of Clay Street. A citation for possession of marijuana was issued.
A woman reported Thursday morning her son was assaulted Monday afternoon after school.
Clarence D. Smith, 43, of Fostoria, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender Tuesday.
A person reported Wednesday afternoon park rails were damaged at Foundation Park, 1300 S. Union St., due to a tree that was cut down.
A theft of medication was reported Wednesday afternoon in the 400 block of North Town Street.
Vandalism was reported early Thursday morning in the 1500 block of North Countyline Street.
Fostoria firefighters were called to 110 E. Jones St. Tuesday morning for a system malfunction.
Bettsville fire and EMS were called to Union Street Thursday morning for the report of smoke coming from a basement. Bettsville Fire Chief Jim Maglosky said the cause was a condensation pump that had burned up. There was no fire.
