Wilner M. Marcelin, 23, of Tiffin, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving under suspension and willful disregard early Tuesday morning.

A woman went to the station Tuesday evening to report fraudulent charges on her bank account.

A 300-block Circular Street woman reported Tuesday evening her neighbor saw someone trying to break into her residence sometime Monday night.

A first-block West Perry Street woman reported early Wednesday morning a man was seen entering a vehicle. The woman’s boyfriend chased the man, and said he believed he knew the man. A DVD player was taken from the vehicle.

A first-block Minerva Street caller reported Wednesday afternoon they heard gunshots in the area. Police were unable to locate anyone else who heard gunshots.

County reports

Alexandra L. Jenkins, 18, of Huron, was charged with underage possession/consumption May 11.

Brook L. White, 19, of Huron, was charged with underage possession/consumption May 11.

A person was charged with disorderly conduct after a disturbance was reported Tuesday afternoon in the area of South CR 591 and South TR 119.

A 1000-block South TR 59 man reported Tuesday afternoon his unlocked vehicle was broken into Friday.

A 6000-block West CR 6 woman reported early Wednesday morning someone had attempted to get into the residence.

Fostoria reports

A man was cited with public intoxication after a caller from Fostoria Pantry, 255 W. South St., reported an intoxicated man was refusing to leave the store.

A woman reported Tuesday afternoon his 10-year-old son was assaulted at a bus stop in the 300 block of West High Street. Two boys had struck the 10-year-old two or three times.

A caller reported Tuesday afternoon people at a 200-block South Wood Street residence were throwing water balloons at vehicles driving down the street and at people walking along the sidewalk. A person was issued a disorderly conduct citation.

A woman reported Tuesday afternoon her daughter was being assaulted in the 500 block of East Lytle Street. Ryan J. Thomas, 21, of Fostoria, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct.

A 200-block West South Street person requested to speak to an officer Tuesday evening about a phone scam.

A 500-block Miller Avenue man reported Tuesday evening his daughter was being sexually harassed at school.

An employee of the hospital reported early Wednesday morning a woman who was assaulted by her boyfriend was being treated. The woman was told to go to the police station to file charges.

A 600-block West Fremont Street man reported early Wednesday morning someone spray painted his home.

A 200-block Elwood Avenue man reported early Wednesday morning someone broke into his truck. Aaron W. Crowe Jr., 18, of Fostoria, was charged with theft.

A caller reported Wednesday morning juveniles at a bus stop in the 300 block of East Fremont Street threw rocks at a roof, breaking a sign. They also pulled out flowers.

A 200-block Elwood Avenue woman reported Wednesday morning someone broke into her unlocked vehicle. A GPS was taken.

A juvenile was arrested Wednesday morning after an assault was reported at Fostoria Middle School, 1202 HL Ford Drive.

A 700-block Westhaven Drive man reported Wednesday morning his vehicle was broken into Saturday. Items were taken.

A person reported Wednesday afternoon someone put duct tape over a security camera in the 500 block of Maple Street and stole a rim from a vehicle.

State Patrol

James O’Connor, 58, of Columbia Station, was cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control following an accident early Tuesday morning on SR 4. He was transported by Attica EMS to Mercy Willard Hospital. A State Highway Patrol spokeswoman said O’Connor had been operating a Fed-Ex freight truck northbound on SR 4 when he drove off the side of the roadway, struck a ditch and utility pole, and overturned the truck on its side.

A single-vehicle rollover accident was reported Wednesday afternoon on TR 112. No transports were made from the scene. Further details were unavailable.

Tiffin firefighters were called to 781 Greenfield St. Wednesday morning for an unintentional smoke detector activation.

Bascom fire and EMS and the Echo unit were called to an accident Wednesday afternoon on TR 112.
