A 17-year-old boy was charged with burglary Friday evening.

Cory D. Williams, 18, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Friday.

Christian L. Overmyer, 18, of Tiffin, was charged with theft Friday.

Kenneth B. Jackson, 21, of Tiffin, was charged with drug possession/abuse Friday night.

Ashlee E. Decker, 30, of Cincinnati, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to control early Sunday morning.

A 100-block East Market Street woman reported early Monday morning her prescription medications had been stolen.

A man dressed in black ran from police early Monday morning in the area of Circular and Coe streets. It sounded as if change had fallen from his pockets when he ran, according to the report. Tiffin Police Department’s canine unit tracked the man and a bicycle was picked up by police. No arrests were made, according to the report.

A theft from a room was reported Monday morning in the 2000 block of West Market Street.

A man reported Monday morning more than $400 was taken from his account Saturday.

Numerous fraud cases were reported Monday morning in the first block of Shaffer Park Drive. A call was placed to Lt. Mark Marquis of Tiffin Police Department for more information Monday afternoon.

A first-block Heritage Drive man reported Monday morning someone had attempted to break into his car.

A juvenile shoplifter was reported Monday afternoon at Circle K, 73 Melmore St.

County reports

Tiffany L. Pocock, 28, of Bellevue, was charged with open container Friday.

Ryan L. Walter, 28, of Sandusky, was charged with open container Friday.

Justin J. Ulman, 18, of Republic, was charged with underage possession/consumption and disorderly conduct Sunday.

A woman reported Sunday evening two windows were broken out of a horse trailer in the 4000 block of North TR 167.

A 10000-block West TR 84 man reported Sunday evening his neighbor was trying to shoot a dog in his backyard. The neighbor left, but the man requested to speak to a deputy. A man was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.

A fight was reported Sunday night in the 5000 block of East TR 138. An adult was arrested.

A 1000-block West CR 30 woman reported Monday morning she received a phone call from a man claiming he was from the attorney general’s office and she owed money for a loan. The woman said she never had a loan.

A 2000-block North SR 19 person went to the station Monday morning to report the theft of a gun, kitchen items and an antique cane.

A 4000-block South SR 53 woman reported Monday morning her daughter went into her home and took some items.

A theft was reported Monday morning in the 100 block of West High Street.

John C. Fritz, 34, of Fostoria, was charged with theft for an incident April 26.

Jonathon L. Zickefoose, 44, of Fostoria, was charged with disorderly conduct May 6.

Corrine N. Gardner, age unavailable, of Norwalk, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Thursday.

Robert E. Hoyer, 44, of Fostoria, was cited with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead Friday evening.

Eric S. LeBay, 32, of McComb, was charged with open container and improper backing Saturday.

A man reported Sunday afternoon his wallet was stolen from the 300 block of North Main Street Saturday.

A caller from Kroger, 126 W. High St., reported Sunday evening a 15-year-old girl was caught shoplifting. The girl told police she wouldn’t go to Kroger for the rest of her life. Theft charges were to be filed.

A caller reported two men were breaking into a residence Monday morning in the 300 block of McDougal Street. Rex A. Frederick, 20, of Fostoria, and Jeremy Goble, 35, of Fostoria, were charged with trespass. A door was secured by police.

A 400-block Stadium Drive woman reported Monday afternoon people who were staying at her house while she was in jail stole copper piping and ransacked the house.

A van went into a ditch early Monday morning on SR 4 near TR 106. A State Highway Patrol spokeswoman said Monday evening further details were unavailable.
