G&L Turbo Suds, a car wash, opens | Advertiser-Tribune A car wash featuring three self-serve bays and an automatic touch-free wash station opened Wednesday near US 224 and SR 100. The car wash, owned and operated by G&L Oil Co., will be open 24 hours a day and is well-lit for night-time washes, said owner Kim Walton. Walton said the car wash, named G&L Turbo Suds, offers Rain-X protectant, carnauba wax, Armor All Extreme Shine, triple foam polish and an under-carriage wash. "It's like a big sheet of wax that is left on your car," Walton said of the waxes.
