Elisha Guth and Dylan Rank exchanged wedding vows in a double-ring ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Monroe, Michigan. The officiant was the Rev. Evans Bentley. A reception followed the ceremony at Dusseau Reception Center, Temperance, Michigan.
The bride is the daughter of Julie Guth and Howard Sobecki. The groom is the son of Anita (Bob) Rowland and Craig Rank Sr.
The bride was given in marriage by her godfather, Ryan Chapman, who walked her halfway down the aisle, where they met her grandfather, Jerry Guth, who walked her to the altar. She wore a champagne lace floor-length strapless dress with a waist-length veil made by her mother and carried light blue and white hydrangeas. Bridesmaids wore three different styles of navy blue floor-length dresses and carried rose pink and white hydrangea bouquets made by the bride’s grandmother.
Maids of honor were MacKenzie Fork of Toledo, friend of the bride, and Lindsay Balduf of Columbus, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Madison Guth of Old Fort, a cousin; Kennedy Guth of Old Fort, a cousin; Korri Liscomb of Fort Myers, Florida, friend of the bride; Shelby Phillips of Toledo, friend of the bride; Alyson Timmons of Toledo, friend of the bride; Jordann Dillard of Columbus, friend of the bride; and Sidney Sobecki of Webster, Texas, sister of the bride. The flower girl was Eleanor Rank of Perrysburg.
Best men were Dane Rank of Perrysburg, brother of the groom, and Kenny Hyttenhove of Wake Forest, North Carolina, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Craig Rank of Toledo, brother of the groom; Scott Poffenbaugh of Columbus, friend of the groom; Ian Smith of Toledo, friend of the groom; Kyle Ulrich of Columbus, friend of the groom; Pat Shea of Churchville, New York, friend of the groom; Jon Smith of San Diego, California, friend of the groom; and Austin Price of Delray Beach, Florida, friend of the bride. Ring bearer was Everett Rank of Perrysburg.
The bride, a 2009 graduate of Old Fort High School, graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2013 and is manager/HR business partner at ADP.
The groom, a 2005 graduate of Roy C. Start High School, graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2014 and is a physical education teacher.
The couple resides in Maumee.
