Sarah Ali Al-Momar and Ian Ronald Lee exchanged wedding vows May 23, 2015, during an outdoor wedding at Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon. The Rev. Chrysanne Timm was the officiant during the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Teresa Good and Jennifer Winger of Toledo, and Ali and Aseel Al-Momar, also of Toledo. The groom is the son of Brad and Jennifer Lee of Republic.
The bride, given in marriage by her mother and father, wore a white, ruffled gown with a sweetheart neckline and floral belt. She carried a bouquet of purple tulips.
Bridesmaids wore turquoise, knee-length dresses with varying one-shoulder and sweetheart necklines. They carried baby’s breath with turquoise and purple ribbons. The flower attendants were Barbara Lentz, grandmother of the bride, and Linda Golling, great-aunt of the groom.
Kiley Crego of Ann Arbor, Michigan, best friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Andrea Uribe of Greenville, North Carolina; Claire Lee of London, sister of the groom; Rayna Christman of Charlotte, North Carolina; Lindsey Crego of Toledo; and Stephanie Krebs of Idaho Falls, Idaho, all friends of the bride.
Michael Richter, of Sumter, South Carolina, best friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Elliott Lee of Republic, brother of the groom; Erik Kessler of Fremont; Travis Elless of Albany, New York; Christopher Miko of Anchorage, Alaska; and Brian Whitmer of Cleveland, all friends of the groom.
The bride, a 2009 graduate of Sylvania Southview High School, graduated in 2013 from Valparaiso University with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology, and finished a master’s degree in applied meteorology at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire in 2015. She is a meteorologist at AWS Truepower.
The groom, a 2008 graduate of Seneca East High School, graduated in 2012 from Valparaiso University with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. He is a general forecaster for the National Weather Service in Miami, Florida.
A rehearsal dinner was May 22, 2015, at Luckie’s Barn and Grill in Oregon. The couple took a honeymoon to Niagara Falls and Toronto and live in Miami.
