Ashley Berrier and Nicholas Ryan were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 4, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. The Rev. Frank Murd officiated the Catholic nuptial mass and a reception followed at Heidelberg University’s Great Hall.

Ashley is the daughter of Donald and Sandra Berrier of Tiffin. Nicholas is the son of Gerald and Jacquelyn Ryan of Norwalk.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line, ivory, satin and venice lace, sweetheart, V-neck gown embellished with beads, sequins and embroidered lace. The keyhole-back featured a chapel train and buttons. Her headpiece had pearls and rhinestones attached to a shoulder-length veil. She carried a cascade-style bouquet of milema roses, akito roses, white diamond alstromeria, safari sunset, bear grass, variegated pitt and brown hypericum berries.

Erin Shaffer of Tiffin was her friend’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brianne Richardson of Green Springs, friend of the bride; Laura Wise of Tiffin, aunt of the bride; and Olivia Van Dresser of Norwalk, sister of the groom. They wore flowing floor-length, mocha chiffon gowns embellished with rhinestone halter necklines. The backs included an inverted V-back design and a sweep train. They carried colonial-style bouquets with safari sunset, solidago, green hypericum, red alstromeria, bright yellow daisies, orange carnations and milema roses.

Nicholas Van Dresser of Norwalk served as his brother-in-law’s best man. Groomsmen were Anthony Myers of Vermillion, Nathan Myers of Norwalk and Clinton Ryan of Norwalk, cousins of the groom.

Ashley graduated in 2004 from Columbian High School, in 2006 from Terra Community College and in 2008 from Tiffin University with a business degree. She is the marketing manager/supervisor for Aramark Campus Dining at Heidelberg University.

The newlyweds traveled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for a honeymoon, and live in Green Springs.
