Samantha Ritzler and Brian Hunt were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Oct. 12, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. The Rev. Jim Halleron was officiant during the Catholic nuptial Mass. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Park Ballroom, Bascom.

Samantha is the daughter of Beth and Chuck Ritzler of Tiffin.

Brian is the son of Maxine and Randy Hunt of Tiffin.

Samantha, given in marriage by her parents, wore a Mori Lee golden-colored gown embellished with crystals and a lace overlay. She wore a simple veil and carried a bouquet of white, purple and orange flowers.

Laura Schultz of Tiffin was her friend’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carly Stepp of Beavercreek, friend of the bride, Sarah Hunt of Cuyahoga Falls, twin sister of the groom, Amanda Ritzler of Columbus, cousin of the bride, and Erin Garrison of Columbus, Jenn Lehan of Cincinnati and Alyssa Felton of Scottsdale, Ariz., friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Allee Ritzler of Tiffin, sister of the bride. They wore champagne-colored, above-the-knee-length dresses with eggplant sashes at the waist and eggplant shoes.

Kevin Hunt of Columbus was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Ritzler of Tiffin, brother of the bride, and Kyle Racette of Akron, Brooks Arbogast of Columbus, Jordan Cartwright of Tiffin, Erik Smith of Cincinnati and Aaron Gassner of Tiffin, friends of the groom.

Samantha is a 2007 graduate of Calvert High School, a 2011 graduate of Wright State University and a 2013 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University. She works as a physical therapist.

Brian is a 2007 graduate of Calvert High School and is a student at Owens Community College.

A rehearsal dinner took place at Shell Shuckers, Tiffin.

The newlyweds reside at 70 Main St., Tiffin.
