Marie Coleman and Ryan Zinn exchanged wedding vows at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 14, 2013, on the putting green at Mohawk Golf and Country Club, Tiffin. The Rev. Louis Dorsch officiated. An outdoor reception followed at the golf course.

Marie is the daughter of Edgar and Mary Coleman of Bascom.

Ryan is the son of Roy and Barbara Zinn of Tiffin.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory silk organza gown with a sweetheart neckline, fitted waist and cathedral train. The waistline of the full-length gown was trimmed with a criss-crossed satin ribbon and a cluster of pearls. The small shoulder straps featured embroidered flower appliques. She carried a white bouquet of long-stemmed daisies and lilies, wrapped with a white satin ribbon. She wore a beaded and appliqued headpiece and veil.

Helen Coleman of Bascom was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen DeAmicis of Carey, cousin of the bride; Jen Coleman, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jelena Coleman, niece of the bride, both of Delaware; and Sarah Broseke of Sylvania and Deb Weaver of Tiffin, friends of the bride. They wore V-neck, royal blue tea-length dresses and carried bouquets of long-stemmed white daisies, wrapped with a royal blue satin ribbon.

Doug Zinn of Columbus served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Roberts, Jeff Krempa, Dennis Paben and Mike Jarvis, all of Columbus and friends of the groom, and Chris Durham of Chicago, friend of the groom. They wore black cyprus shawl tuxedos by After Six with neckties and pocket squares that matched the bridesmaids’ dresses.

The bride, a graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish with teacher certification from Ohio Northern University. She is a Spanish teacher at St. Francis DeSales High School, Columbus.

The groom graduated from Mohawk High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a master’s degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in human resource management, all from The Ohio State University. He is director of development for The Ohio State University, focusing on corporate fundraising.

The couple was honored with a miscellaneous shower Sept. 1, 2013, hosted by the bride’s family.

The rehearsal dinner took place at the residence of the groom’s parents.

The couple is planning a honeymoon in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, in April.

They reside in Columbus.
