Alexandria Herman and Zeile Klaiss exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Bascom. Deacon George Miller was officiant during the ceremony. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Park Ballroom, Bascom.
The bride is the daughter of Kim Herman and Glenn Herman, both of Tiffin.
The groom is the son of Vicki Kimmet of Tiffin and Dennis Klaiss of Bettsville.
The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore a white satin taffeta, strapless gown with silver embroidery throughout the bodice. Waterfall draping created a full skirt that cascaded onto the chapel-length train. The gown also featured a corset style, lace-up back. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, white roses and English lavenders.
Madison Herman was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Casanova, friend of the bride, and Mekenna Klaiss and Madison Klaiss, sisters of the groom. They wore marine blue, strapless, knee-length dresses with lace-up backs and carried bouquets of blue hydrangeas and white roses.
Tim Lynch was his friend’s best man. Groomsmen were Lucas Davidson, cousin of the groom, and Rob Weber and Codie Gamertsfelder, friends of the groom.
Kaydence Winget, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Braydin Davidson, godson of the groom, was ring bearer.
Alexandria is a 2008 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School and a 2012 graduate of Ohio Northern University. She is a mechanical engineer for Korda Engineering, Columbus.
Zeile is a 2004 graduate of Bettsville High School and a 2009 graduate of The University of Toledo. He is a design engineer for Honda R&D, Raymond.
Honoring the bride with a miscellaneous shower in March 2013 were her mother and mother-in-law.
A rehearsal dinner was at Clover Club, Tiffin.
Following a honeymoon to Oahu, Hawaii, the couple resides in Columbus.
