Join Linda Rose for a night hike at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at Tiffin University Nature Preserve, CR 26. Dress for an hour-long hike, which qualifies for the walking stick program.

A “Tracks in the Snow” program for Puddle Jumpers ages 5 and younger is planned for 10 a.m. Jan. 11 at Wolf Creek Campground, 2701 S. SR 53, Fremont.

Join Tom Kashmer for a bird feeder banding program at 8 a.m. Jan. 11 and 25. Meet at the park office, 1970 Countryside Place, Fremont, to travel to private property around the marshes of Sandusky Bay.
In indoor comfort, participants can view a “window on wildlife” and learn about bird banding research as they watch the process.

Register by today to learn about the planet with many moons and other astronomical wonders in the January night sky during Planetarium Night at 7 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Discovery Center at Oakwoods Nature Preserve.
The program is recommended for families with children ages 5 and older. Kids can enjoy a story, craft and take a look at planets and stars in the planetarium.
Oakwoods preserve is at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, west of Findlay.
A discovery story about woodpeckers is scheduled for 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday at the Discovery Center at Oakwoods preserve.
Children ages 3-6 can learn what woodpeckers are doing in the winter and enjoy a story, activities and a craft about woodpeckers.
A Pizza & Planetarium Night is planned for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at the Discovery Center to learn the constellations. Join the program monthly to learn all 88 constellations.
The family event is recommended for ages 5 and older. Participants will eat pizza, homemade cookies and lemonade, followed by a stars presentation. Registration is $5 and due by Tuesday.

An Almost-a-Full-Moon Hike is planned for 7 p.m. Jan. 14 at Unger Park, 1303 Bucyrus-Nevada Road, Bucyrus.

A Bark at the Moon Walk and Woof program is scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 15 at Lowe-Volk Park.
