Area Right to Life chapters plan activities

NEW RIEGEL – A community garage sale in New Riegel is to run 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.

New Riegel Right to Life is to operate a lunch stand at the village municipal building. Donated baked goods can be dropped off there the days of the sale, and workers also are needed.

During the 40 Days for Life, through May 5, New Riegel Right to Life is collecting donations for two local pregnancy support centers: Heartbeat/Hope Medical, 120 1/2 S. Washington St., Tiffin, and

Caring Hands, 112 E. North St., Fostoria.

Bubby’s Restaurant in New Riegel also has a collection box for this purpose.

Items needed include diapers, baby wipes, formula, new or gently used baby clothes and blankets, baby bottles and nipples, baby food, gallon Ziploc bags, cleaning supplies, bathroom tissue, paper towels, postage stamps, business-size envelopes, copy paper, gift cards, pacifiers and baby detergent.

Items can be dropped off at either center or at 38 N. Perry St., New Riegel.

FOSTORIA – A Right to Life rummage sale is planned Wednesday through Friday in the basement of the Fostoria Knights of Columbus, 445 W. Center St., Fostoria.

One room is to be filled with clothing of all sizes and a second room will hold a variety of items. Money raised is to be used to assist area residents with pregnancies.

The final day is “bag day,” when shoppers can fill a bag for $1.

Donations for the sale are to be accepted 9 a.m.-4 p.m. today.
