The meeting included a meet-and-greet event to introduce new administrators, followed by opening comments and committee updates.
Board Policy Committee members Tom Parnell and Vice President Brad Lovell led a first reading of policy changes for administrator professional development, employee vacation time, class rank, student fundraising, travel payment and reimbursement.
In addition to reviewing earlier health care recommendations, Jenni Logan, board treasurer, approved $50 club cards for junior high schools and a three-year health insurance contract with Medical Mutual of Ohio, effective Jan. 1.
At adjournment, the board moved into an executive session to discuss the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, compensation of a public employee or official, and was to resume at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
