JUNIOR HIGH BOYS BASKETBALL: Old Fort’s eighth grade defeated St. Joe 46-33. Isiah Perez had 13 for the Stockaders, while Konnor Ernsberger had 10. Carter DuBois also had 10 for Old Fort.

n Hopewell-Loudon’s seventh grade topped New Riegel 29-25. Will Nutter, Matt Wyman and Cohen Sendelbach each had six points for the Chieftians.

n Hopewell-Loudon’s eighth grade held off Calvert 36-33. Evan Kreais had 14 for H-L, while Carter Yarbrough had 13.

n Hopewell-Loudon’s eighth grade beat Danbury, 32-29. Isabelle Beidelschies had 14 points for H-L, while Anna Daniel and Carley Coffman each had eight.

BASEBALL: The Seneca East Baseball Club will have its 2020 mandatory registration meeting for children who would like to play on a T-Ball (ages 4-5) or Town League (ages 5-8) team. This will be held in the Seneca East cafeteria Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. Forms will be sent home from school with children and also will be available in the elementary office. SOFTBALL: The first organizational meeting for all coaches of the Sen-San-Wyan girls softball league is March 4 at 7 p.m. at the Upper Room at St. Joseph Activity Center on Melmore Street in Tiffin. This instructional league is open to all girls in the surrounding areas. No girl will be denied participation on their home team. This league is for any interested girls who has completed kindergarten through eighth grade. Any new team that would like to join must send a representative to the meeting.
