Stockaders break away after 1st quarter

OLD FORT — Old Fort stormed past Woodmore in the middle quarters Tuesday to turn a close game into a 63-45 win.

The Stockaders (10-7) ended the first quarter up just 15-13, but doubled up the Wildcats 18-9 in the second and outscored them 15-7 in the third for a 48-29 advantage.

Jordan Reineck tallied 16 points and five steals for Old Fort, Kara Davidson added 10 points, 10 rebounds and four steals, and Chloe Wilkinson chipped in 10 points, five boards and four steals.

Early surge fuels Royals

SYCAMORE — Wynford took control in the first quarter and rolled from there Tuesday in a 61-29 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win against Mohawk.

The Royals (13-5, 10-4 N10) led 21-4 at the first stop and 34-12 at halftime.

Kaylee Smith netted 12 points for Wynford, Averi McMillan had 10, Rylee Alspach tossed in nine and Lyndie Williams ended with eight.

Emma Thiery’s 13 points led the Warriors (3-15, 1-12) and Paityn Clouse grabbed 10 rebounds.

Rockets slip past TC

Oak Harbor battled past Columbian 44-43 Tuesday, dropping the Tornadoes to 3-8.

Sophia Eli tossed in 19 points for the Rockets (7-11), Anna Tack had 12 and Madison Glaser finished with eight.

Hailey Cooper’s 12 points keyed the Tornadoes in the loss. Serena Ingalls added eight points and Toria Ingalls had seven.

Blue Devils power past Falcons

CAREY — Carey owned the boards and benefitted from Riverdale’s poor shooting Tuesday in a 38-24 win.

The Blue Devils (10-6) held a 35-24 rebounding advantage, with Avarie Stewart hauling in nine boards for Carey.

Bailey Tanner hit four 3-pointers for a game-high 12 points for Carey, Avarie Stewart scored eight, and Sadie Arend and Ady Stewart both chipped in six.

Payton Rodriguez topped the Falcons (6-10) with eight points. Riverdale went just 10 of 39 from the field, 0 of 6 on 3-pointers and 4 of 10 at the foul line.
