Seneca East cruises past Rockets
ATTICA — Jessica Bowerman nearly had a double-double and two teammates combined for 28 points Tuesday as Seneca East thumped Ridgedale 81-30 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play.
Bowerman led the charge with 20 points and nine rebounds for the Tigers (12-2, 9-1 N10).
Makenna Depinet tallied 18 points and three steals, Brooke Bordner netted 10 points and Alexis Hicks grabbed seven rebounds.
McKinley Britton’s 13 points topped the Rockets (6-7, 3-7).
Ratliff, Pifher fuel BC
NEW WASHINGTON — Taylor Ratliff and Claudia Pifher teamed up to outscore Mohawk in Buckeye Central’s 60-25 Northern 10 Athletic Conference game Tuesday.
Ratliff registered 17 points, six steals and five assists for the Bucks (12-2, 10-0 N10) and Pifher scored 15 points.
Ally Green backed them with eight points, four assists and three steals, and Lexi Evak had seven points and eight boards.
Paityn Clouse gave the Warriors (3-11, 1-8) 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Genoa rolls past FHS
FOSTORIA — Kendall Gerke popped in 24 points Tuesday to key Genoa’s 59-25 Northern Buckeye Conference win against Fostoria.
Gina Goodman added 13 points for the Comets (6-8, 2-7 NBC), Hannah Bradfield netted nine and Caitlin Cruickshank had eight.
Jennafer Johnson scored nine points for the Redmen (0-15, 0-10).
Willard races past TC
WILLARD — Four Willard players scored in double digits Tuesday as the Crimson Flashes doubled Columbian 62-31 in Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division play.
The Crimson Flashes dominated early, grabbing a 22-10 lead by the end of the first quarter and outscoring Columbian 34-13 over the next two periods.
McKenna Stephens led the way with 21 points, Presley Feltner tossed in 14, Cassie Crawford had 11 and Layla Dialss added 10.
Serena Ingalls scored nine points for the Tornadoes and Hailey Cooper had eight.
Stockaders swarm past Raiders
KANSAS — Old Fort used a quick start and a balanced attack Tuesday to beat Lakota 76-41 in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division play.
The Stockaders (11-1, 8-0 SBC) grabbed a 22-9 lead at the first stop and led 38-18 at halftime.
Carson Steyer paced Old Fort with 14 points, Colin Nutter had 13 points and eight rebounds, Myles Miller tallied 10 points and seven boards, and Garrett Havens and Jordan Smith both tossed in eight points.
Greg Steyer added four steals and four assists and Casey Clouse dished five assists.
The Raiders (1-10, 1-7) got 14 points from Camron Burley and eight each from Braden Schaser and Ethan Klotz.
Surge in fourth seals H-L win
BASCOM — Jordyn Jury turned in a solid game and Kyle Rumschlag powered a fourth-quarter surge Tuesday as Hopewell-Loudon powered past Fremont St. Joe 51-31 in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division action.
Jury tallied 19 points and seven assists for the Chieftains (9-3, 6-2 SBC), who led just 33-26 at the end of the third quarter.
Rumschlag then scored all 10 of his points in the fourth to key an 18-5 spurt to secure the win. He also ended with seven rebounds.
Travis Milligan chipped in 11 points for H-L.
Chase Harrison sparked the Crimson Streaks (9-3, 6-2) with 10 points and nine boards.
Truckers pull away in fourth
NORWALK — Norwalk cranked up the offense in the fourth quarter Tuesday to turn a close game into a 52-40 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division win against Clyde.
The Truckers (7-4, 4-1 SBC) led just 31-29 after the third period before using a 21-11 surge in the fourth.
Garrett Obringer hit four 3-pointers and ended with 19 points for Norwalk, and Garrett Chapin backed him with 17 points.
Jaden Cook scored 12 points for the Fliers (4-4, 3-1) and Kaiden Olson tossed in eight.
