MILITARY APPRECIATION: Friday is Military Appreciation Night across Ohio and Hopewell-Loudon will participate by with free admission to the boys varsity basketball game against Sandusky St. Mary for all former and active military and all current first responders. Bring proof of service.

n Old Fort will participate in Military Night in its game Friday against New Riegel. All past and present military personnel will be honored. Also at the game, Allison Adelsperger will be inducted into the Old Fort Hall of Fame.

BOYS JV BASKETBALL: Hopewell-Loudon beat Fremont St. Joe 60-29. Dan Lommerse, Gabe Dohanyos and Braden Finsel all scored 12 points for the Chieftains.

n Calvert defeated New Riegel 44-29. Jackson Seislove scored 15 points for the Senecas and Bob Price chipped in 10.

n Jackson Seislove tossed in 15 points and Bob Price added 10 for Calvert in a 44-29 win over New Riegel. Carson Whipple had nine and Drew Hohman seven for the Blue Jackets.

n Clyde edged Norwalk 36-34.

n Landen Barr scored 23points to help Old Fort beat Lakota 50-34.

JV GIRLS BASKETBALL: Lexi Smith scored 16 points, but it wasn’t enough as Willard topped Columbian 32-29. MacKenzie Davis scored five points for the Tornadoes.

n Fostoria beat Genoa 41-29.

n Buckeye Central beat Mohawk 34-16.

BOYS FRESHMAN BASKETBALL: Norwalk beat Clyde 36-29.

GIRLS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Old Fort’s eighth grade beat Calvert 34-17 on the strength of Macie Miller’s 17 points. Alexis Ward and Audra Miller each added six points for the Stockaders.

BOYS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Blake Bender score 18 points and Isaiah Perez netted 15 to lead Old Fort’s eighth grade past Calvert 43-28.

n Clyde’s seventh grade beat Tiffin 31-26. Zach Shawberry’s eight points and Logan Smith’s six led Tiffin.

n Tiffin’s eighth grade improved to 9-0 by beating Clyde 59-19. Bryce Roggow led the victors with 14 points, Isaac Garcia scored 11, Brady Gooding added eight, Taleb Alzakwani tossed in seven, and Jack Koerper, Nathan Arend and Brayden Roggow each netted six.

n Calvert beat Old Fort 36-21 in seventh grade play. Ryan Adelsperger scored seven points for Old Fort and Tyson Frisch had six.
