GIRLS BASKETBALL: MaKayla Elmore scored 30 points and added seven steals, six assists and seven rebounds, and Kaia Woods scored 28 points and had nine assists and six rebounds in Hopewell-Loudon’s 93-40 win over St. Joe Tuesday. Olivia Zender added 12 points for the Chieftains, while Morgan Searles had eight.
JV BOYS BASKETBALL: Jackson Seislove scored 15 points for Calvert and Quinn Ronski had 14, but Clyde knocked off the Senecas, 61-50, Kyle Flewelling led the Fliers with 14 points.
BOWLING: In the Allen Eiry League at Knights of Columbus, Robin Brownell had the high women’s game (150) and series (299). Gerald Schalk had the high men’s game (136) and the high series was bowled by Jim Donaldson (250). There will be no bowling next week.
JUNIOR HIGH BOYS BASKETBALL: Hopewell-Loudon got nine points from Cohen Sendelbach in a 45-18 seventh grade win over St. Joe. Matt Wman and Braylon Martinez each scored seven points in the win for the Chieftains.
n Hopewell-Loudon got 17 points from Carter Yarborough and eight from Donovan Elmore in a 39-34 seventh grade win over St. Joe.
JUNIOR HIGH GIRLS BASKETBALL: Ariyanna Bishop had eight points for Hopewell-Loudon’s seventh grade, but the Chieftains lost, 30-19. Olivia Bishop had six points for H-L.
n Carley Coffman scored 15, and Hopewell-Loudon’s eighth grade topped St. Joe, 40-17. Anna Daniel and Kylie Malagon each chipped in eight points for the Chieftains.
