Blue Streaks thump Clyde to stay perfect

SANDUSKY — Undefeated Sandusky had the offense clicking early and rolled from there Friday in a 91-60 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division win against Clyde.

The Blue Streaks (14-0, 8-0 SBC) raced out to a 32-22 lead by the end of the first quarter, and doubled up Clyde 26-13 in the third quarter to forge a 64-47 advantage.

Jahj Staveskie poured in 32 points for Sandusky, Dylon Jones added 17, Trent Scott scored 13 and Williams Simpson had 11.

Jack Morrison’s 17 points topped the Fliers (5-6, 4-2). Johnny Marshall, Kaiden Olson and Carson Rieman all tossed in nine points and Caden Berger had eight.

St. Joe turns back Old Fort

FREMONT — Fremont St. Joe bettered Old Fort in the individual and baker game portions of a dual Friday to claim a 2,465-2,032 boys Sandusky Bay Conference Bay Division bowling match.

The Crimson Streaks used strong games throughout to get the victory.

Lance Emrich rolled games of 232 and 241 for a team-best 471 series for St. Joe. Alex Dumminger (381), Drew Fredrick (319), Marcos Sanchez (317) and Noah Hausman (309) each topped 300 for a series.

The Stockaders got a match-high 495 series from Hayden Tarris, thanks to his games of 237 and 258.

Shayne Yeager followed with a 320 series, Charles Bryant tallied a 249 and Dylan Halbisen had a 240. Joey Brumbaugh (89) and Elijah Hopple (95) combined for a 184 series.

St. Joe took each baker game, with wins of 136-126, 190-126, 149-138 and 191-154.
