Burst in fourth sparks Clyde

CLYDE — Clyde powered off in the fourth quarter to turn a close game into a 52-43 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division win against Norwalk.
The Fliers (2-1) led just 36-34 entering the final period, but outscored Norwalk 16-9 from there.
Kristin Harrold keyed Clyde with 21 points and Sidney Hohman had 10.
Elena Barger’s 23 points paced the Truckers (2-1).
Woodmore rides quick start
ELMORE — Woodmore vaulted out to a 42-20 halftime lead Friday en route to beating Northern Buckeye Conference foe Fostoria 68-32.
Jordan Nighswander led the charge with 17 points for the Wildcats (2-0, 1-0 NBC). Brooke Allen added 13 points and Ava Beam scored 11.
Jennafer Chasco netted seven points for the Redmen (0-4, 0-1) and Mya Weimerskirch had six.
