Jones, Meyer spark Senecas vs. St. Mary

Ashlyn Jones and Zoe Meyer had solid nights swinging their arms Tuesday as Calvert beat Sandusky Bay Conference River Division foe Sandusky St. Mary 25-18, 25-10, 25-15 on Ace Out Breast Cancer Night.

Jones led the charge with eight kills, seven digs and five aces for the Senecas, while Meyer smacked eight kills and four solo blocks.

Emma White tossed up 25 assists, A.J. Hemminger came up with 12 digs, and Hannah Myers and Kate Rombach both drilled two solo blocks.

Bucks stay perfect in N10

NEW WASHINGTON — Buckeye Central dominated Upper Sandusky 25-8, 25-14, 25-15 Tuesday to improve to 12-0 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play.

Lexi Evak hammered 10 kills for the Bucks (14-3), Claudia Pifher tossed up 14 assists, Mackenzie Phenicie tallied 10 assists and five aces and Parker Phenicie came up with 17 digs.

Alivia Niece (2 blocks) lined another seven kills, Kendra Ackerman belted six kills and three aces and Lycia Ackerman chipped in five digs.

NR makes short work of Gibsonburg

GIBSONBURG — Aubrey Bouillon handed out 24 assists and Kaitlyn Kirian and Jordan Hohman combined for 29 kills Tuesday as New Riegel steamrolled Sandusky Bay Conference River Division foe Gibsonburg 25-8, 25-8, 25-7.

Kirian (2 blocks) registered 18 kills and five digs and Hohman (2 digs, 2 aces) hammered 11 kills.

Bouillon added seven kills and five digs of her own for the Blue Jackets, and Julia Reinhart tallied six kills and three digs.

Bullion, Bellevue blast Sandusky

SANDUSKY — Molly Bullion slammed 11 aces Tuesday to key Bellevue’s 25-5, 25-10, 25-13 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division win against Sandusky.

Bullion added seven digs for the Redmen and Kailee Felder turned in 10 kills and six digs.

Kami Hay backed them with eight digs, Taylor Baxter belted seven kills, Claire Turner lined five kills, and Beyah Garcia and Chloe Herrera both blasted two blocks.

Warriors roll past Bucyrus

BUCYRUS — Alexa Konkle handed out 23 assists and four teammates each lined at least four kills Tuesday to fuel Mohawk’s 25-15, 25-6, 25-11 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win against Bucyrus.

Konkle added five aces and four digs for the Warriors (11-6, 8-4 N10).

Paityn Clouse had eight kills and five digs, Catherine Klopp clubbed seven kills, Tess Weinandy drilled six kills and five aces and Emma Thiery lined four kills.

Kendyll Gurney backed them with nine digs, Marah Gillig (2 kills, 2 aces) had five digs, Ellie Shaw came up with four digs and Ella Hoover had three digs.

Tigers pummel CC

ATTICA — Jessica Bowerman turned in a triple-double Tuesday to key Seneca East in a 25-20, 25-22, 25-22 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win against Colonel Crawford.

Bowerman led the onslaught with 15 digs, 10 kills, 10 assists and five blocks.

Lauren Bogner came up with 21 digs for the Tigers (13-5, 11-2), Tori Fritz added 11 digs, Katrina Kagy slammed six kills and five blocks, Alexis Hicks hammered five blocks and Mallory Beamer blasted two blocks.

Chieftains knock back Lakota

BASCOM — Abbi Roerdink tossed up 30 assists and five teammates combined for 30 kills Tuesday in Hopewell-Loudon’s 25-11, 25-14, 25-15 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win against Lakota.

Megan Kreais led the Chieftains’ hitters with eight kills, Peyton Hoover and Abbe Beidelschies both belted seven and Elizabeth Wells and Hope Kreais each lined four.

Roerdink added three digs, Hoover had four and Beidelschies and Wells both chipped in two. Grace Dohanyos came up with 10 digs.

McCoy keys Stockaders

LAKESIDE — Savannah McCoy nearly registered a double-double Tuesday as Old Fort powered past Danbury 25-19, 25-20, 25-12 in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division action.

McCoy sparked the Stockaders (10-8, 8-5 SBC) with 12 digs and nine kills.

Ashlyn Magers added 12 digs and three aces, Emily Hull (2 aces) had 15 assists and Emily Blankenship tossed up 11 assists.

Kara Davidson (2 blocks) drilled seven kills, Jordan Reineck had six digs, Christa Kuhn and Grace Wasserman (2 blocks) both lined five kills and MarcQue Harris served three aces.
