Bullion, Felder lead Bellevue past TC

Molly Bullion and Kailee Felder each registered a double-double Thursday to lead Bellevue past Columbian 25-16, 16-25, 25-18, 25-15 in Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division play.

Bullion (2 aces) accounted for 38 assists and 18 digs for the Redmen and Felder (2 aces) added 16 digs and 10 kills.

Kami Hay chipped in 19 digs, Taylor Baxter (2 aces) drilled 18 kills, Claire Turner hammered nine kills and three blocks and Gabby Turner lined three blocks.

The Tornadoes (11-6, 5-5 SBC) got 17 kills, 11 digs and five blocks from Riley Roggow.

Olivia Jacobs added 17 assists, six digs and four kills, Kennedy Sherman had 11 assists, four aces and three digs, Amara Solomon (2 kills) came up with 10 digs, Toria Ingalls tallied five digs and Mckenna Kidwell (2 kills, 2 blocks) had four digs.

Senecas sweep Raiders

KANSAS — Calvert didn’t waste much time with Lakota Thursday with a 25-11, 25-7, 25-12 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win against Lakota.

Zoe Meyer smacked 11 kills for the Senecas, while Ashlyn Jones compiled nine kills, five aces and six digs, Hannah Myers added eight kills and three blocks, Kate Rombach hammered six kills, Emma White tallied 19 assists and seven digs, AJ Hemminger had three aces and 11 digs and Erin Wagner dished 11 assists.

Stockaders boot Gibsonburg

GIBSONBURG — Old Fort upended Sandusky Bay Conference River Division foe Gibsonburg 25-20, 25-9, 25-18 Thursday.

Savannah McCoy keyed the Stockaders with 17 digs, three aces and three kills, Ashlyn Magers had 13 digs, Emily Hall tallied 13 assists and six digs and Emily Blankenship tossed up 12 assists.

Grace Wasserman (2 blocks) belted 10 kills, Kara Davidson and Chloe Wilkinson both lined seven kills, Breanna Hoerig had seven digs, Jordan Reineck added six digs, Jillian Stover drilled four kills and MarcQue Harris served four aces.

Bucks a win away

from N10 crown

MORRAL — Buckeye Central powered past Ridgedale 25-7, 25-7, 25-18 Thursday, moving to within a win of claiming at least a share of the Northern 10 Athletic Conference crown.

The Bucks improved to 13-0 in N10 play, with three more conference matches to go — Saturday at Carey, Tuesday at Bucyrus and next Thursday at home against Colonel Crawford.

Second-place Seneca East has two N10 losses.

Parker Phenicie gave Buckeye Central (15-3) 15 digs, Claudia Pifher had 14 assists and four aces and Lexi Evak smacked 13 kills.

Kendra Ackerman added seven digs and six kills and Alivia Niese drilled six kills and three blocks.

Tigers take out Rams

UPPER SANDUSKY — Jessica Bowerman had a double-double and Tori Fritz and Lauren Bogner combined for 37 digs Thursday to fuel Seneca East’s 25-17, 25-20, 24-26, 25-12 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win against Upper Sandusky.

Bowerman provided 15 assists, 11 kills and seven digs for the Tigers (14-5, 12-2 N10), Fritz had 20 digs and five kills and Bogner tallied 17 digs and three aces.

Megan Rife handed out 16 assists, Hillary Bogner came up with 11 digs, Alexis Hicks hammered eight kills and four blocks, Katrina Kagy crushed six kills and four blocks and Mallory Beamer belted five kills and four blocks.

The Rams (7-12, 5-8) got 17 digs each from Emily Hill and Jadyn Smalley, with Hill lining five kills.

Eve Smith tossed up 15 assists and Sydney Stuckman lined 12 kills.

Otsego boots FHS

FOSTORIA — Otsego beat Fostoria 25-12, 25-12, 25-12 Thursday in Northern Buckeye Conference play.

Jasmine Groves, Kamari Godfrey and Esperanza Navarro each came up with 10 digs in the loss for the Redmen (6-13, 4-8 NBC). Groves added five kills and four assists.

Jolie Counts handed out 10 assists for FHS, Momo Jones smacked six kills and Zoe Rice had five digs.

Warriors drop Wynford

BUCYRUS — Mohawk upended Northern 10 Athletic Conference foe Wynford 25-16, 25-14, 25-22 Thursday.

Alexa Konkle (2 kills) led the victors with 19 assists, seven digs and three aces.

Paityn Clouse (2 blocks, 2 aces) tallied 10 digs and four kills for the Warriors (12-6, 9-4 N10), Catherine Klopp lined six kills and four blocks, Marah Gillig had five kills and five digs, Tess Weinandy (2 aces, 2 digs) belted five kills and three blocks, Ellie Shaw added three digs, Emma Thiery drilled two kills and Kendyll Gurney had two digs.

H-L takes 5-set battle from Blue Jackets

NEW RIEGEL — Peyton Hoover registered a double-double and Abbi Roerdink handed out 31 assists Thursday to spark Hopewell-Loudon in a 16-25, 25-22, 19-25, 27-25, 15-8 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win against New Riegel.

Hoover (2 aces) tallied 24 digs and 12 kills for the Chieftains, with Roerdink (2 aces) adding four digs.

Grace Dohanyos came up with 14 digs, Abbe Beidelschies had 12 digs, Elizabeth Wells (2 blocks) lined nine kills, Hope Kreais chipped in seven digs, Olivia Savidge (2 blocks) smacked six kills, Allie Milligan added four digs and Hannah Welly (2 kills) turned in four block assists.

All that countered big nights from four Blue Jackets.

Aubrey Bouillon tallied a triple-double of 21 assists, 15 digs and 11 kills.

Kaitlyn Kirian (2 blocks) registered 28 kills and 16 digs, Jordan Hohman had 21 digs and 17 kills, and Brooklyn Gillig ended with 28 digs.
